Questions About Building a Custom Home?
Check Out These Common Questions

In our business, there aren't many one-size-fits-all answers. Custom homes are, after all, custom. However, if you're early in the planning process, check out these FAQs to learn more about building a custom home in the Tri-Cities and what it's like to work with us.

Got Specific Questions?

How long does it take to build a custom home?

Timelines for building a custom home vary depending on the size and scope of the project—not to mention if there are any major changes needed mid-project. However, you can generally plan on your home taking 6-8 months to build.

What makes Intrigue Custom Homes different from other home builders in the Tri-Cities?

Many builders start by having you select from one of several pre-made floor plans. They build nice homes, to be sure, but they aren't fully customizable based on your family's needs and stylistic preferences.

When Intrigue Custom Homes builds your home, you're getting a truly customized home, in which every inch of the house is designed around you. The possibilities are endless!

The other main difference is that our home builder, Paul, works with the homeowner(s) every step of the way, seeing the project through to completion for every single project.

Can you build on my lot?

Most people we work with already have a lot where they want to build their home. However, if you don't already have a lot to build on, we can connect you with a real estate agent who can help you find one.

What is the first step in building a custom home?

The first step is to give us a call! We want to talk to anyone who is considering building a home in the Tri-Cities area.
