When we decided to have a home built, we were given a list of Home Building Contractors from a Relator. The Relator recommended Paul Fansler of Intrigue Custom Homes indicating he had always had good experiences working with Paul and felt Paul was honest and fair. We also saw a flyer with pictures of homes he had built and were very impressed with the look of the homes. They were exactly what we were looking to have built.

After meeting Paul in person, and discussing our plans with him, we decided he was the Contractor for us. Paul was recommended to us by a sub-contractor who was doing some work for us. He had said that Paul did very nice, high quality finish work and added several ‘nice touches’ that really makes a house stand out. We contacted Paul showed him the lot we had and a few sketches for layout and look of the house we wanted to build.

Paul helped us every step of the way from those rough sketches to the final drawings to the final house. Paul added significant value by making suggestions, when appropriate, to assure the final build would meet all our expectations. To be sure, Paul spent a lot of time guiding us through the maze of details required for building a quality home.

During the construction, Paul added the nice touches we wanted, coffered ceiling in the great room and tray-ceilings in the master bedrooms. Paul went with us to pick finishes and always carried a few pieces of flooring and wall coverings to make sure what we picked didn’t clash with existing finishes. Paul also made sure that he was following our wishes and adding those special extras that really add to the looks and feel of the house. The sub-contractors Paul uses are first rate and do quality work. Our kitchen is absolutely gorgeous.

Paul worked with our son to frame his first house (a first for both of them). He provided a cost estimate, helped our son with an efficient design process, and set up a detailed schedule for the completion of the work. He paid attention to our son's wishes and expectations and ensured that the work met very strict and quality standards. He accomplished the project on schedule within the original estimate.

When our son started the plans for his second house, he contacted Paul and asked him to handle the framing of that project. He didn't even request estimates from another subcontractor. Now our son has moved and plans to build another large shop and a new home. He will be contacting Paul again.
